...and of course the company that I ordered from filed for bankruptcy today. I hope I'll be able to get my money back. :(

It looks like be without a new computer for a while.

Ahh fucking DB i suppose!!!

I have just sent my soundcard back cus it didn't fit. I also payed the damn delivery of the package! Now it seems i will get it back (in best case) and then i must send it to the manufactor. Gay shit!

PS: Very sad that DB is going down though. I have bought most of my hardware there for as long as i can remember...

What the crap?

I'm using the same Notebook for 3 years now. Should buy me a computer as well.

Anyway I'm positive you'll find a new computer somewhere else (LOL this sounds like your dog has died and you need a new one) :D

After my computer shut itself down even while watching a Blu-ray movie last night I broke down and bought myself a PS3 tonight. My first console in 25 years. :P

Now I'll get busy connecting stuff. :)

LOL nice one mark!

I got an email from DB where they said I could get my card back! BUT I have to pay for the delivery... Guess the card just became about 50euros more expensive than it was in the first place as i paid the delivery there when I didn't want the card.

I finally got my money back from my failed attempt at getting a new computer. :)

My existing computer is worse than ever. I tried to burn a DVD earlier tonight and it shut itself down at about 80% finished. :P Since I bought a PS3 I'll probably just get something cheap that will let me do basic stuff without shutting down but it probably won't be that good for gaming.

Get a PS3 and I'll play with you. ;)

A cheap new computer is probably better than the one I've got now - better processor and I'll be using the same graphics-card.

Any suggestions about what I should get?

I'm considering a Dell Studio XPS with a Core i7 processor.

...and I've always said I wouldn't buy a brand-name computer. :P

I have now ordered a Dell. :P

Core™ i7 920-processor

3 GB DDR3-memory

256 MB ATI® Radeon™ HD 3450

I'll probably put my old GeForce 8800 GT from this computer into it along with my Blu-ray player.

With my luck with computers lately, Dell will most likely face bankruptcy within a few days.
